Patricia Norins, CEO

Patricia Norins is the founder and publisher of Pinnacle Publishing Group, Inc., a publishing and tradeshow company focused on the retail industry. Pinnacle Publishing Group specializes in reporting on retail trends, visual merchandising techniques, growth strategies and retail entrepreneurial success stories.

Norins has more than 15 years of experience in both the publishing and retail. She started her career in family owned seasonal retail stores (300 kiosk locations nationwide) and later managed a well-known chain store, Casual Corner. In 1997, Norins launched Specialty Retail Report. In 2006, Norins started a trade magazine for the gift and home furnishings industry, GIFT SHOP magazine.

Currently, Norins publishes Specialty Retail Report and GIFT SHOP magazine and is the author of a how-to business start-up book for cart and kiosk retailers: Ultimate Guide to Specialty Retail. Norins also produces a tradeshow for the specialty retail industry—SPREE. Also, she recently launched a new magazine for the retail industry—GREEN Retailer. Norins blogs at SpecialtyRetailExpert.com.

Norins also serves as a consultant to small retailers across the country. 

She is regularly quoted in newspapers across the country including the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Chicago Tribune and the Los Angeles Times as the authority in specialty retail.

Norins earned her B.A. in Psychology from Clark University.
